THE PAST IN PICTURES is a trading name of PETERS PHOTOGRAPHY.

We are a long established photographic business - opening our first studio in London in 1968, photographing everything from pets to Monachy.

We 're now specialising in just one of our many fields of photography - that of providing high quality genuine photographs in mounts taken from our extensive library of old images that date from 1870's onwards. The collection covers the Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch areas.

The production and sales of The Past in Pictures series has grown over the last few years and we are now able to offer them via this website and through agents.

Our aim has always been to produce the best possible product at a reasonable cost to our clients. For this reason, the images we offer for sale are genuine photographs not inkjet prints. Toned images on photographic paper will last, without fading, for in excess of 100 years in the right conditions.
